Moved to the Museum in 1993, this house was owned by a civil engineer named Homer Gray.
Dating from the 1920's, this building has been converted to what we hope gives an idea of a Gunnison home in the 1880's - 1910. All items represent the many donations of Gunnison area residents. Some items came to the Gunnison area in covered wagons and by rail. Displays include a ranch kitchen, living area with wood stove, vintage clothing and quilts, a children's nursery and bedrooms.
The Gunnison Pioneer Museum aims to preserve the history of those people that have come to Colorado and the Gunnison Country to make a life in the High Rockies.
